Smart tag - Item tracker

Description

A personalized, smart gift for a loved one. 🎁 Don't lose what matters most. ❤
This smart tracker tag helps you easily locate attached items, pets, or even lost children.
At close range (up to 5–20 m): Locate items using your phone’s Bluetooth tracker—it shows the direction or helps you find the item via sound.
If the item is far away: A global search network (Google Find Hub or Apple Find My) takes over. You can view the tag's location on a map, as recorded by other nearby devices.

Smart tag is a small keychain that helps you see where your things are from a distance.
You can simply attach it to your keys, put it in your handbag or wallet.
The tag connects to your smartphone, so you will always see its location on your screen. If an item is lost at home, you can press a button in the app and the tag will start beeping loudly. If you left the item further away, for example, in a park or cafe, the phone will show the last place where it was noticed on the map.

It is very easy to use: you just need to pair it with your phone once and attach it to an important item. The device works with a replaceable battery, which is enough for a very long time, so you don't have to worry about constant charging. It's like an invisible thread that connects you to your most precious things.
This gift is especially suitable for those who value peace of mind and want to protect themselves from unexpected losses. It's a simple technological solution that everyone can understand.

1. Sound signal (Search at home)

If you know that an item with a tag is somewhere in your house, but you can't see it, you can turn on the sound signal in the app. The tag will start beeping loudly, so you just have to walk towards the sound until you find the lost item under your pillow or in your jacket pocket.

2. Proximity locator (Search via „Bluetooth“ connection)

When you are near an item, your phone acts like a metal detector. You will see visual cues on the screen that will show you whether you are approaching or moving away from the item. This is especially convenient when you are looking for small items in a large space or when it is too noisy to hear the beep. The proximity locator works at a distance of 5-15 meters.

3. “SmartThings Find“ network (Search in the city or in the distance)

If you left the item far away, your phone will not be able to reach it via “Bluetooth“ connection. In this case, the tag securely and anonymously communicates with other nearby Android or Apple devices, which transmit information about the tag's location to the cloud. You see the updated location on your phone on the map, even if you are tens of kilometers away.
Search marks are recorded by those phones that have the item search function enabled - this is about 1/5 of phones. But more and more people are using this function, the number of active phones is increasing.

No, it's not a GPS tracker.

  • GPS trackers connect directly to satellites and have their own SIM cards, so they require an expensive battery and often a monthly subscription fee.

  • The Tag works using a „Bluetooth“ connection. It sends a signal to other phones passing by. These phones (while remaining completely anonymous) “see” tag and tell the system: “Hey, this thing is here“.

Why is a Tag better than GPS in many cases?

  1. Battery: A GPS tracker charges in a few days, while a tag works up to a year.

  2. Price: You don't have to pay any monthly connection fees.

  3. Size: It's much smaller and lighter than any GPS device.

When might this not be useful? If you leave your item in a completely empty forest, where no one with a phone (with item search enabled) will pass within a radius of kilometers, the tag will not be able to update on a map of your location. However, in a city or in crowded areas, this network works surprisingly accurately.
